About Kela Schutzartikel

Kela Schutzartikel is a brand of Kerber & Lampe GmbH, based in Kelkheim (Taunus) near Frankfurt am Main, Germany. We specialize in personal protective equipment (PPE) for the workplace, trades, and everyday use - in particular safety glasses, surgical masks, and FFP2 respirator masks. Our goal: high-quality, CE-certified protective products "Made in Germany," explained clearly and easy to order.

Important note on our name

Kela Schutzartikel is not the same company as the brand "Kela", which has been producing household goods, kitchenware, and textiles for over 115 years (kela.de). These are two completely independent companies with no corporate or other connection. If you are looking for protective equipment such as safety glasses or respiratory masks, you are in the right place with us, Kela Schutzartikel.

Who is behind Kela Schutzartikel?

Guido Kerber, co-founder and owner, is responsible - together with the team - for selecting, testing, and advising on our protective products. All guide articles in our magazine are written and kept up to date by him, based on applicable occupational safety standards (including EN 166, EN 149) and official statistics (e.g. from the German Statutory Accident Insurance, DGUV).
